The IP-DECT Wireless System (Global) system provides an enhanced IP-DECT wireless solution for all regions including North America. It provides voice communication, text messaging, and alarm handling between wireless handsets within an enterprise LAN. Additionally, this solution delivers a core set of basic telephony features based on SIP integration with the 3300 ICP.

You license the IP-DECT handsets the within the 3300 ICP the same as you license any other SIP devices. The handsets require an IP User License and must be registered with the 3300 ICP, which acts as the registrar. Once registration is completed, SIP devices can make and receive calls.
To program the 5603 and 5604 Wireless Handsets, follow the procedure for programming a SIP generic device. Refer to the IP-DECT Base Station Installation and Operation guide for additional details.
