The Attendant Call Information Display provides the attendant with information about called and calling parties. The information may include:
Called Number Display
When you dial a number, the DESTINATION display area includes the destination's
number, name (if programmed), status message (if setup), installed device
type (e.g., 5235 IP telephone), status (e.g., busy), Class of Service,
and Class of Restriction. If you dial an invalid number, an error message
appears.
Calling Number Display
When you receive a call, the SOURCE display area includes the originator's
number, name (if programmed), installed device type (for example, 5235
IP telephone), status, Class of Service, and Class of Restriction.
For SIP calls, SIP labels and logical trunk numbers are displayed.
You will see "Network SIP" for SIP line side calls. For SIP
Trunk Calls, you will see "External SIP". The logical trunk
numbers can assist you with diagnosing any system problems.
Call Waiting Display
The number next to the C/W (at the top of the display)
indicates the total number of calls that are held in queues and in hold
slots that are recalling the attendant console. If any calls are waiting
to be answered, an icon appears in the corresponding queue. Each queue
corresponds to a particular incoming call group; the number of calls waiting
in each group is displayed at the foot of each column.
Call Rerouting Display
When a call is redirected to your attendant console (see Call Rerouting,
Call Forward, Transfer, and Intercept Handling), the DESTINATION (DST)
display area shows the attempt destination (both name and number) and
the reason that the call has been redirected.
A rerouted call that was dialed by using a system speed call will display the actual number (not the system speed call number). Similarly, if the destination was dialed through ARS, the dialed digits are displayed (not the ARS digits).
The type of installed device is not displayed on SUPERCONSOLE 1000 and 5540 IP consoles.
