Node ID Recognition lets a system in a network determine if an incoming call applies to it or to another system in the network.
Node IDs should be unique numbers. The node ID should not conflict with station numbers, feature access codes, or speed call numbers.
The first node ID is the primary identifier for the node. This identifier appears in all SMDR and traffic report outputs.
All entries on the ARS Node Identities form are synonyms for the primary node ID.
The node identifier can be up to seven digits long.
Complete the ARS Node Identities form. The primary node ID must be included.
