Overlap Outpulsing allows the system to start processing dialed digits before the entire number has been entered. This reduces post-dialing delay when trunk calls are originated. Once a route has been determined by ARS, an analog trunk is seized and tones are outpulsed before all of the digits have been dialed. False traffic at the CO is avoided because outpulsing does not commence until ARS has identified a route.
Only enable Overlap Outpulsing on analog trunks.
Trunk group Callbacks may not operate properly because the system may not retain all of the dialed digits.
