Use the DHCP Static IP Address form to assign an IP address to devices that require a permanent IP address. The 3300 ICP DHCP Server provides for a maximum of 50 static IP addresses. Refer to DHCP Server programming instructions.
Use this form when performing the following tasks:
Static IP addresses must be under a defined subnet. All of the static IP addresses under one subnet have the same parent subnet IP address (which is not editable). When a subnet is deleted, all of the static IP addresses under it are also deleted.
If the 3300 ICP is part of a cluster, any IP Console must be assigned a Static IP Address.
If a wireless network is using the 3300 ICP DHCP server, then each Access point must be assigned a static IP address.
We recommend you assign a static IP address to the E2T ("Boot or DHCP" protocol, MAC hardware address).
