XNET ICP/PBX Networking

Purpose:

The XNET ICP/PBX Networking form is used to program the incoming and outgoing digits used for XNET call B-channel setup. An instance of this form must be programmed for each Remote system that the local system communicates with using XNET calls.

ICP/PBX Number

Enter the unique ID number of the system.

Local ICP/PBX

System-generated, protected field based on the value entered in the corresponding ICP/PBX Networking form. If this field is set to "Yes" it pertains to the Local PBX.

Enter descriptive information to identify the PBX.

Max Number of VoIP Calls

Enter the total number of VoIP sessions (calls) between two ICPs/PBXs, the local and the remote system that use IP as a voice medium. The total includes both incoming and outgoing calls.

  • Note: This value must be the same for the local and remote systems.

This field can only be programmed if the IP Network Location ID field in the ICP/PBX Networking form has been programmed.

Values can be between "0" and "200" for all controllers. A value of "0" suppresses IP trunking calls to the remote ICP/PBX.

 

Max Number of VoTDM Calls

Enter the total number of VoTDM sessions (calls) between two ICPs/PBXs, the local and the remote system that use TDM as a voice medium. The total includes both incoming and outgoing calls.

  • Note: This value must be the same for the local and remote systems.

This field can only be programmed if the IP Network Location ID field in the ICP/PBX Networking form has been programmed.

Values can be between "0" and "200". A value of "0" suppresses TDM trunking calls to the remote ICP/PBX.

Enter the answer point digits to be used by this system when setting up MSDN/DPNSS B-channel calls to remote systems in the network.
