Cancel Print

Qualifiers:

ALL

ALL /PORT <port name>

/PORT <port name>

<job number>

<job number> /PORT <port name>

Purpose:

Allows you to cancel a print request waiting on the print queue or a job that is currently being printed.

Details:

The ALL qualifier cancels all jobs on the default printer.

The ALL /PORT <port name> qualifier cancels all jobs on the specified port.

The /PORT <port name> qualifier cancels the current job on the specified port.

The <job number> qualifier cancels the specified job on whichever queue it is found.

The <job number> /PORT <port name> qualifier cancels the specified print job on the specified printer port.

Entering no qualifier cancels the current job on the default port.

Example:

Entry: CANCEL PRINT

System Response:

If the print request is cancelled, the system responds with a

PrintSys Error: Aborted (cancelled by user) Job 4 Port LPR1 File FILENAME

If a print job is already complete or doesn't exist in the queue, the system responds with

PrintSys Error: Command failed. Reason (port queue is empty)
