EDT FORCE FAILBACK

Qualifiers:

<cabinet> <shelf> <slot> <port> (default port is 1)

Purpose:

This command applies to the T1/E1 trunk resiliency feature. It allows you to force a resilient T1/E1 trunk to fail back immediately from the secondary controller to the primary controller.

If the primary controller fails, the resilient T1/E1 trunk is transferred to the secondary controller. After the primary controller returns to service, use this command to return support for the resilient T1/E1 trunk to the primary controller.

System Response:

If resiliency is not enabled for the trunk, the system response is

2005-11-18  11:00:27 EDT FORCE FAILBACK Failed, Resiliency not enabled.

If you do not enter the command from the primary controller, the system response is

2005-11-18  11:00:27 EDT FORCE FAILBACK Failed, must invoke from Primary Controller.

If the trunk is not connected to a T1/E1 Combo MMC, the system response is

2005-11-18  11:00:27 EDT FORCE FAILBACK Failed, T1E1 Combo Module required.
