DN <dnmin> TO <dnmax>
PLID <card type> <unit>
PLID <card type> <unit> <shelf>
PLID <card type> <unit> <shelf> <slot>
PLID <card type> <unit> <shelf> <slot> <circuit>
PLID <card type> <unitmin> TO <unitmax>
Locates the first location that has no device or number attached.
The qualifiers <dnmin> and <dnmax> represent the directory numbers at the lower and upper bounds of the search. The qualifiers must be the same length (i.e. 1000 to 2000, not 500 to 1500).
The qualifiers <unitmin> and <unitmax> represent the PLIDs at the lower and upper bounds of the search. Each qualifier consists of up to four numbers: unit, shelf, slot, and circuit. The unit number must be input only for unitmin. If shelf, slot, and circuit are left blank for unitmin, the lowest available values will be selected by default. If cabinet, shelf, slot, and circuit are left blank for unitmax, the highest available values will be selected by default.
The search for free PLIDs and DNs is carried out in the same way. The <unitmin> or <dnmin> qualifier must be entered; however, the <unitmax> qualifier is optional. The search begins at <unitmin> or <dnmin> and terminates at <unitmax> or <dnmax> or when the search is satisfied. If <unitmax> is not specified, the search begins at unitmin and continues until the search is satisfied.
The <card type> qualifier can be 4_PORT_LS, 8_PORT_ONS, AC15, CEPT, COVLINE, DATASTATION, DID2, DID3, DIGITALLINE, DNILINE, DS1, E_AND_M, HYBRID_LS_ONS, LOOPDID, LS/GS, ONSLINE, OPSLINE, R2, SCDCTRUNK, UNIVERSAL_E1, UNIVERSAL_T1, ANYCARDTYPE.
A directory number is considered to be free if it satisfies all of the following conditions.
The directory number will not conflict with an ARS digit string.
Assigning the directory number will not cause a conflict with an existing feature access code.
The directory number is not already assigned to a peripheral, route, or hunt group.
A PLID is considered to be free if there is no programmed card type for the PLID, there is no device associated with a PLID, or there is no directory number associated with a device programmed for the PLID (except for PLIDs programmed for system ports or modem pools).
