LOCATE RING_GROUP

Qualifiers:

<number>

Purpose:

Locates the specified ring group.

Details:

The command results differ depending on whether the ring group pilot number is resilient or non-resilient. If the number is non-resilient, the system responds with the pilot number only. If the number is resilient, the response includes the primary and secondary Cluster Element ID and the routing digits of the ring group number.

Examples:

Entry (non-resilient number) : locate ring_group 4000

System Response:

Pilot Number: 4000

Entry (resilient number) : locate ring_group 4001

System Response:

Pilot Number: 4001
Primary Element : LEID 49 - Routing Digits : 89249 *
Secondary Element : CEID 45 - Routing Digits : 89245

• Note: In the example above, LEID is Local Element ID. The * indicates that this is the most recently known location that the primary element has for this directory number.
