Print SMDR Records

Before you begin, ensure that the 5550 IP Console is programmed and installed on the system.

To print SMDR records using the 5550 IP Console printer port:

1. In the System Ports form

2. Highlight the desired record

3. Click Change

4. Assign a name to the IP Console system port SC5550 Output.

3. In the Application Logical Ports form

4. Highlight SMDR Continuous

5. Click Change

6. Enter the port name programmed in step 1.

3. Connect a null modem cable from COM 1 port of the server of the 5550 IP console and the call accounting system.

4. Note: Logs will be lost if the cable is disconnected or if the 5550 IP application is shut down. The 3300 ICP does not buffer SMDR logs.
