Description:

Rooms can be searched for using the condition and occupancy status as search parameters.

Conditions and Feature Interactions

None of the Guest Services functions, including finding rooms, are available on the SUPERCONSOLE 1000 or 5540 IP Console in a Clustered Hospitality environment.

Programming

Operation

SUPERCONSOLE 1000 and 5540 IP Console

  1. Enter Guest Service mode.

  2. Press the OCCUPANCY and/or CONDITION softkeys until the desired parameters appear in the Occupancy and Conditions fields.
    or
    Press the MAID softkey to search for rooms with "Maid Present" status,
    or
    Press the VAC/CLEAN softkey to search for rooms with "Vacant and Clean" status.

  3. Press the ENTER softkey
    or
    Enter a room number where you want the search to start, and then press the ENTER softkey. A list of room numbers with the selected parameters is displayed.

  4. If 10 room numbers are displayed, press the NEXT or PREVIOUS softkeys to check for additional rooms with the selected parameters.

  5. When the desired room is displayed, press the arrow keys to move the cursor next to the desired room number, and then press the SELECT softkey.  Information for the selected room appears.

5550 IP Console

  1. Press Guest Service.

  2. Do one of the following:

  3. To display information for a specific room, use the computer keyboard to type the room number in the Room Number box

  4. To find rooms by occupancy and condition status, click Room Status, and then select states from the Occupancy and Condition lists.

  5. To begin searching for a particular room, type the number of the room in the Starting at room box

  6. To find a guest's room, click Last Name of Guest, and then type the guest's last name.

  1. Press Search.

  2. To view information for a room in the list, click to select it and press Select. Use the arrow keys, or the PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN keys to scroll through the rooms.
