Incoming call behavior is associated with a Linked Suite Pilot number and the enabling and disabling of shared telephone service. When shared telephone service is enabled for a Linked Suite, the following behaviors occur:
An incoming call to the Linked Suite Pilot number is sent to all Suite Extensions programmed as "Immediate" at the same time. The incoming call to the Member Suite can be answered at any Suite Extension.
To make a call between Member Suites, dial either a specific Member Suite's Suite Pilot number or the Linked Suite Pilot number.
An incoming call to a Linked Suite Pilot number that is not answered will follow the call rerouting programmed for the Primary Suite Extension of the Primary Member Suite.
A Linked Suite cannot be placed in Do Not Disturb mode; however, each individual Suite (within the Linked Suite) may be placed in Do Not Disturb mode independently.
When shared telephone service is disabled for a Linked Suite, the following behaviors occur:
An incoming call to the Linked Suite Pilot number is sent to the Primary Member Suite.
An incoming call to a Linked Suite Pilot number that is not answered will follow the call re-routing programmed against the Primary Member Suite.
In a Linked Suite, incoming calls on Suite Extensions follow the Class of Service or Class of Restriction of the Primary Suite Extension. When the removal or check out of a Linked Suite occurs, the telephone directory entry for that Linked Suite is automatically removed. Outgoing calls are associated with the Linked Suite Pilot number for billing purposes.
