Incoming calls to the Suite Pilot number can be answered at Suite Extensions programmed as "Immediate". If an incoming call to the Suite Pilot Number is not answered, the call follows the programmed call rerouting for the Primary Suite Extension. When a Suite is placed in Do Not Disturb mode, all incoming calls to the Suite Pilot number and the Primary Suite Extension also follow the programmed call rerouting. Other Suite Extensions may be called directly when the Suite is placed in Do Not Disturb.
Incoming calls to the Suite Pilot number follow the Class of Service and Class of Restriction of the Primary Suite Extension, however, when a Suite Extension is dialed directly, that extension's Class of Service is used. An incoming call to the Suite Pilot number is presented to each of the Suite Extensions at the same time, according to their respective programmed delivery behavior. Outgoing calls from any Suite Extension follow the Class of Service and Class of Restriction attributed to the Primary Suite Extension.
When a name is associated with a Suite Pilot number, the name is added to the telephone directory for such purposes as name lookup and call by name. Each Suite Extension may also have an associated name that is not affected by guest check in and check out.
For both incoming and outgoing calls involving Suite Extensions, the name delivered with the call is based on (in order of precedence when a name is programmed in the Telephone Directory):
Suite Pilot number
Primary Suite extension
Suite extension.
The number presented with the call is the Suite Pilot number.
Suite Extensions follow the call block status of the Primary Suite Extension. If call block is enabled on the Primary Suite Extension, any associated Suite Extension cannot call other rooms, or suites. Call block also prohibits calls between Suite Extensions in a suite.
Outgoing calls present the Suite Pilot number and associated name as the calling number and name, respectively. Outgoing calls placed from a Suite Extension are subject to the restrictions of the Primary Suite Extension.
