When you program a wake-up call for a suite, the call is delivered only to Suite Extensions with wake-up call enabled. The first Suite Extension to answer the call completes the wake-up call.
An attendant can set wake-up calls for guests from the attendant console or by using PMS, or guests can set their own wake-up calls from a room telephone. The Suite Pilot number receives the call regardless of the room telephone that a guest uses to program a wake-up call.
Note: Setting wake-up calls from a console in a clustered hospitality environment is supported by the 5550 IP Console only.
When Shared Telephone Service (STS) is disabled on a Suite, Wake-up and Voice Mail for each Suite Extension is handled independently.
