Alarm Email Notification

Purpose:

Use this form to set up email notification for appropriate personnel. Notification occurs when the system alarm status is at the Minor, Major, or Critical level or when any alarm transitions to that level or levels below it. For example, if the System Alarm Status is set at Major in this form and a Critical alarm is raised, no email is sent. Nor is one sent if a Major alarm is raised while the system alarm status is still at Critical. Notification would only occur in this case when the System Alarm Status is at Major and an alarm transitions to or from Major or Minor.

Setting all System Alarm Status levels to "Yes" initially is recommended to ensure that all possible Alarm transitions generate an email.  Later, you can experiment with different settings so that only the required alarm transitions generate email.
