Associated Directory Numbers

Purpose:

The Associated Directory Numbers  form allows you to set up a Hotline or CPN Substitution for a specified directory number.

Field Descriptions

Directory Number

Enter the directory number to program. See Hotline for a list of devices that can be programmed as a hotline.

Associated Type

Select Hotline or CPN Substitution.

Associated Number

For Hotline, enter the directory number of the designated answer point: station (of any set type, including SIP endpoints), attendant, trunk, or hunt group. System speed call numbers are allowed. Feature Access codes are only permitted if the hotline connection is to loudspeaker paging equipment.

Up to 26 digits can be entered for both Hotline and CPN Substitution. For CPN Substitution, only the digits 0 to 9 are allowed.
