You can define bearer capabilities on either a Fixed or a Call by Call basis. If you choose Fixed, you need to specify whether the fixed capability will be for voice or for data. No further digit modification is required for ARS programming.
If you choose Call by Call, note the digit listed for the appropriate bearer capability (for example, 0 for Speech, 2 for UDI (data)) and enter that value in the ARS Digit Modification Plans for ARS programming. Dialed numbers must include this digit.
