Call Rerouting Always Alternatives

Purpose:

The Call Rerouting Always Alternatives form is used to specify routing information for calls routed to the "always alternative" numbers. The rerouting information is defined based on the originating device (DID trunk, TIE trunk, CO trunk or internal call).

Use this form for the following tasks:

Always Alternative Number

System-generated, protected field. Contains the list of always alternative numbers. The maximum always alternative number for each system is 176.

 

Originating Device DID, TIE, CO, INT

Select "Reroute" to reroute the call to the directory number specified in the last column of the form. Select "No Reroute" to permit the call to be completed.

Directory Number

Enter the directory number to which the call is to be routed. The directory number field must be blank if all of the originating device fields (DID trunk, TIE trunk, CO trunk, or internal call) are set to "no reroute". 

The Directory Number rerouted must be one of the following:

  • the directory number of a station

  • the directory number of a "Single Line" type key on a multi-line set

  • the directory number of a key system, multi-call, or mixed multi-line appearance group

  • a hunt group pilot number

  • a ring group pilot number

  • a personal ring group pilot number

  • attendant console group directory number

  • a system speed call number.
