Embedded Media Sources

Purpose:

The Embedded Media Sources form lists the embedded audio files that are used for embedded Music on Hold. You can also use this form to change the label of an audio file, or to delete an audio file. The files are listed by audio file IDs The audio file IDs are used to identify embedded audio files when assigning them to tenants or ACD paths. A label beside an audio file ID indicates an existing audio file in the system.  When downloading an audio file, select an audio file ID without a label unless you want to overwrite an existing audio file..

Description

Audio Source ID

System-generated field. Audio source ID 0 is the system embedded Music on Hold audio file. The remaining audio source IDs can be used for tenant Music on Hold or ACD Music on Hold.

  • Note: The AX Controller only supports two embedded audio sources. Source #0 is predefined as Music on Hold. Therefore, you can only assign Source #1 to Tenant Music on Hold or ACD Music on Hold.

Audio File Label

The name of the audio file. If the field is empty, there is no embedded audio file assigned to this audio file ID.

Audio File Size (KB)

The size of the audio file.

Type

System-generated field. Indicates how this audio file is used (Tenant Music on Hold or ACD Music on Hold).

Number

System-generated field.

Name
