The Import Spreadsheet is a Microsoft Excel (.xls) worksheet that allows you to collect and record system configuration data in a single file. The .xls file can then be validated for format errors, and converted into a . Comma Separated Values. If you have multiple new users or devices to add, using the spreadsheet saves considerable time by eliminating the need to manually enter configuration data for each user or device in several different system forms.
You can import data from the spreadsheet during the initial configuration of a new system, or any time thereafter.

To use the Import Spreadsheet you need:
an archive application such as WinZip® installed on your client station to open the Import Spreadsheet after downloading it.
Microsoft Excel® 97 (SR-2), Excel 2000 (SP 3), Excel 2003 (SP 2) or higher installed on your PC in order to read the Import Spreadsheet form, and to enter data to be imported to the system database.
Import files created with an Import Spreadsheet from previous releases of the 3300 ICP are not compatible with the current release and vice versa.
The Import Spreadsheet should only be used on PCs with North American versions of Microsoft Windows. Using the spreadsheet on non-North American versions of Windows could produce . CSV files generated by the Import Spreadsheet and subsequently modified using Microsoft Excel may cause errors when imported into the 3300 ICP. The User and Device Configuration, Key Assignment and Telephone Directory worksheets are not listed in the All Forms worksheet and thus cannot be recreated if deleted. If deleted, you must obtain a new Import Spreadsheet.
Importing only adds and updates existing data in the 3300 ICP database; it never deletes records.
CAUTION: If you have a multi-system site, you must complete a separate Import Spreadsheet for each system. Do not create one spreadsheet containing all new configuration data for the entire multi-system site.
