If you have a large number of new user profiles to add, you can import the new user and device data by using the Import functionality in the User and Device Configuration form.
You can program a large number of users easily and quickly by collecting a large amount of data in a spreadsheet file, and then importing it directly into the 3300 ICP system database. You can import new user data during the initial configuration of a new system (that is, when you are setting up a new system), or any time that you have a large number of users or devices to add to your system.
The import functionality allows you to add new configuration data to your system database for IP, analog, and DNI devices.
The import process consists of two main steps:
Collect new user and device data and record it in the Import Spreadsheet form.
Import the data from the Import Spreadsheet form using the User and Device Configuration form.
Note: If the user and device data that you wish to import is already saved in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and you prefer to save the existing spreadsheet for import rather than re-enter the data in the Import Spreadsheet form, you can save the existing spreadsheet in the proper .csv format. See Creating an Import File for more information.
