Note: The L2 to CESID Mapping form is not applicable to MCD for Industry Standard Servers (ISS).
The L2 to CESID Mapping form is used to assign a Customer Emergency Services ID (CESID) number to a Layer 2 switch port. The CESID is sent to the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the event of an Emergency Call and used as a key in the Automatic Location Information (ALI) database to pinpoint the precise location of the caller.
