Use this form to perform line quality measurements on Loop Start (LS) trunks that are connected to the AX controller, Analog Main Board, Analog Option Board, or ASU II.
Any new test conducted on a trunk overwrites the previous results with the latest results, however, the test results are also stored as maintenance logs. After you use the Line Measure Tool on a line, the columns in the form are updated with the results.
Use this form when performing the following tasks:
Before you can run line measurement tests, you must configure the system to support the tests. See Measuring LS Trunk Line Settings for instructions.

Displays the type of test performed: Individual Line Quality Test - Reports the loss level, Echo Return Loss (ERL), and line quality for a specified trunk. |
Batch Line Quality Test - Reports the loss level, Echo Return Loss (ERL), and line quality for all applicable trunks in the system.
Individual Distortion/Echo Test - Measures non-linear distortion (for example, from clipping) of a specified LS trunk for each candidate balance circuit setting.
Batch Distortion/Echo Test - Measures non-linear distortion (for example, from clipping) of all applicable LS trunks in the system for each candidate balance circuit setting.
