Display ASU Info

Qualifiers:

None.

Purpose:

Displays the hardware version, status, and other information about the ASU (Embedded ASU, AMB, AOB, ASU, and ASU II) devices connected to the CIM ports on the 3300 ICP.

Details:

The command output is as follows:

• CIM: port number in the range 1 to 21. CIM 1 is always the Embedded ASU. The range for the LX, which does not support Embedded ASU, beginning at 2.

• STATUS: the CIM Port sync status—either UAPI_APH_UP if the ASU is plugged into the port or UAPI_APH_DOWN if it is not. For the Embedded ASU, it is always UAPI_APH_UP since the CIM 1 port is logical port.

• UAPI TYPE (HUBSP TYPE): the type (UAPI TYPE) and country variant (HUBSP TYPE) of ASUs installed. For external Universal and ONS ASUs, HUBSP TYPE indicates its hardware variant. For the Embedded ASU, ASU II, and AX the HUBSP TYPE is COMBO with the same country variant as the 3300 ICP (as specified in the License and Option Selection form).

• CARD INFO: HEX values identifying the ASU cards by the type of circuits (ONS, LS trunk, Paging, Music On Hold) they support. The number of HEX values displayed is equal to the number of card slots (logical or physical) in the ASU. For example, the ASU II displays two values, one for each physical card slot. The embedded ASU has four values:  three for circuits on the Embedded ASU and one (the second of the four) for the AOB.

• Cim <port number> Prom: shows the Marketing Part Number (MPN), Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) number, and the hardware revision of the ASU. In the example below for CIM 1, the MPN is 50003724, the CCA is 56005264 and the hardware dot revision is B.04. If the AOB is installed, its PROM string will appear after the Embedded ASU string. A list of MPNs and the associated hardware is provided in the "FRU Part Number" section of the 3300 ICP Technician's Handbook.
  
  The AMB is only available for the CX/CXi, CX II/CXi II, MX, and MXe  controllers. The marketing part numbers for the AMBs are

  - 50004403 -- AMB V1 on CX and CXi
  - 50004870 -- AMB V2 and V3 on CX, CXi and MXe
  - 50004871 -- AMB v2 CX and CXi
  - 50005184 -- AMB v3 on on CX/CXi, CX/CXi II, MXe
  
  For the ASU II, the MPN of the ASU II controller (50005105) is shown in the Prom string.
  
  For line cards the MPNs are as follows:
  - 50005103 -- 16 ONS port
  - 50005533 -- 16 ONS port protected
  - 50005104 -- 12 ONS and 4 Loop Start
  - 50005721 -- 24 ONS port
  - 50005731 -- 24 ONS port protected-
  
  The CCA identification numbers identify the versions of the AMB and ONS cards as listed below:
  - 56006404RB -- v1
  - 56007302RA -- v2
  - 56008261RA -- v2
  - 56008157RB -- v3
   

• FW: Firmware string showing the MAC address of the ASU, and the version/date tag for the BOOTROM and main firmware load.

• Note: Cim Prom and Firmware strings are not provided for the AX controller since they are the same as the host 3300 ICP.
