MIGRATION STATUS

Qualifiers:

None.

Purpose:

Displays a list of the network elements, by name, and their current Remote Directory Number Synchronization migration status.

Details:

Enter this command from any element in the network or cluster

Refer to Mitel Knowledge Base article 09-3070-00008, "Migrating to RDN Synchronization via SDS," on Mitel Online for instructions on how to migrate a network to RDN synchronization.
 

Element Status

Meaning/Action

Migration complete

Element has completed migration and  supports Remote Directory Number Synchronization.

Migration in progress

Element has received the command to migrate, but migration is still in progress.

Can support new model

If you enter the Migration Status command before performing a migration, this status indicates that the  element has MCD Release 4.0 or later software installed and can be migrated to support remote directory number synchronization.

If you enter the Migration Status command after performing a migration, this status indicates that the element hasn't started the migration process yet.

Requires upgrade before migration

You must upgrade the element to MCD Release 4.0 or later software before you migrate it.

Migration failed

Migration has failed. The migration operation may have failed or the migration may have been interrupted by a system reboot. Retry the migration on this element.
