MOVE DELETE (MOV DEL)

Qualifiers:

<Lastname, Firstname> FROM <extension number>

Purpose:

Deletes a user name from the telephone directory.

Details:

This command applies only to DNIC sets connected to a peripheral node.

The name must be enclosed in double quotation marks. One comma separating first and last names is permitted.

On the SUPERCONSOLE 1000, this command is found under the SYSTEM group of commands.

Move commands are not supported on systems that are operating in Remote Directory Number Synchronization mode.

Example:

Entry: MOV DEL "Donne, John" FROM 4001   

System Response:

Operation successful.
