None
Provides a report on the status of the synchronizing sources from both system clocks.
The NETSYNC STATE command shows the clock sources of the system.
If the NETSYNC STATE command is issued on a master node or if the node is not programmed in the Network Synchronization form to define the clock source, the system response is:
NETSYNC STATE: Invalid command for MASTER SWITCH.

Heading |
Description |
NO. |
The source number as specified in the Network Synchronization form. |
SOURCE |
Specifies the physical location (i.e., cab/shelf/slot/hybrid) of the hybrid from which the synchronizing signal is extracted. |
SOURCE STATUS FOR SYSTEM CLOCK |
Indicates the status, at the moment the command is entered, of the synchronizing sources from the specified hybrid. The fields can contain any of the following entries: AVAILABLE: Present when frame synchronization exists on the specified hybrid and the system clock views the synchronization source as being present and the hybrid associated with the digital trunk is not in loopback mode, that is, the digital link is available for use as a sync source (if forced by using SETSOURCE command), but it is not currently being used. NOT AVAILABLE: A complement of the AVAILABLE state (i.e., may be in loopback mode or viewed as absent by the system clock). SYNCH SOURCE: Present when the synchronization source is attributed to the current synchronization source. UNKNOWN: Present when the Formatter card to which the digital trunk is connected does not respond to source selection requests. In this event it is likely that the associated node (main controller) is not on-line. |
