The PIN number used for registering an IP device at the station is a sequence of characters. The characters used are those from telephone keypad (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, *, 0 ,#).
A PIN number consists of two parts:
The first part is the code programmed in the Systems Options form as a Set Registration Access Code or Set Replacement Access Code. Either code can be up to 10 characters in length.
The second part is the directory number or extension number of the IP device. The directory number can be up to 7 digits but is typically 4 or 5 digits.
