Notes:
To access the System Administration Tool, the Group Administration Tool and the Desktop Tool, we recommend that you use Internet Explorer 7.0 (or later) with the latest Service Pack.
We recommend that you set your monitor resolution to 1024 x 768.
If you are running Windows 98, you cannot run the System Administration Tool, Group Administration Tool or Desktop Tool at the same time as the 5550 IP Console. See the 5550 IP Console documentation for more information.
If the computer that you are using to access a 3300 ICP tool has pop-up blocker software installed, the administration tools may not operate properly. To access the administration tool or perform the administrative activity that the pop-up blocker software is preventing, you must allow pop-ups from the 3300 ICP. See Enabling Pop-ups for details.
Security updates introduced by Microsoft for current versions of Internet Explorer may interfere with the System Administration Tool — in particular, with your ability to download files from the 3300 ICP. Affected browsers will display an Information Bar with the message, "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options." Clicking the Download option may log you out of the System Administration Tool or otherwise stop you from completing your task. To prevent this from occurring, add the 3300 ICP to the Trusted Sites list in your browser as follows:
Click Tools > Internet Options > Security > Trusted sites > Sites.
Enter the 3300 IP address as: https://<IP Address>
Click Add.
Click Close.
Click Custom level... and enable the following options:
ActiveX controls and plug-ins > Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
Downloads > Automatic prompting for file downloads
Click OK, and then OK again to save the changes.
Exit Internet Explorer, and then restart it.
