Notes:
The default number of supported ports for the AX controller is 20. To increase this number, a reduction in other system functions is required. Refer to the Engineering Guidelines and the System Engineering Tool for resource allocation.
The amount of disk space available for voice mail backup is 4GB. Messages must be deleted to reduce the voice mail file size to this amount before attempting a backup.
Because of limited storage space, the AX controller can only have three prompt languages installed. If a different language is required, it must be installed in place of one of the existing languages using the Software Installer tool.
To support embedded voice mail, the AX controller requires a 4 GB flash upgrade. All embedded voice mail functionality is supported with the following constraints:
The voice mail flash provides a limited amount of storage space for messages and prompts (see table below)
You cannot back up voice mail messages. However, the prompts can be included in a backup provided that they do not exceed the maximum storage space on the flash (see table below).
