The Mitel Integrated Configuration Wizard allows you to perform initial system setup and user commissioning of a 3300 ICP system with MCD software and the following Mitel Applications Suite (MAS) applications (only):
Unified Communicator Mobile
Teleworker
NuPoint Unified Messaging
Speech Auto Attendant
Audio and Web Conferencing.
The wizard is installed on a maintenance PC, and then run while the PC is either connected or disconnected from the 3300 ICP controller and the MAS server. After you complete the system configuration, you can save the file for future application to the controller and server. You can further customize the programming by importing .csv files using the wizard and by using the 3300 ICP System Administration Tool and the MAS User and Services application.
The following table shows the Configuration Wizard, 3300 ICP/MCD and MAS releases that are compatible.

The Configuration Wizard supports the following installations:
Initial (greenfield) installations of both the 3300 ICP and MAS applications
Adding new users to existing installations originally configured using the Configuration Wizard.
Notes:
To add new users to existing installations, no configuration changes are allowed to the 3300 ICP or MAS server from the time that the initial configuration is applied by the wizard. In the case where a user already exists, the existing user data is preserved but the Class of Service is not.
Configuration of a new MAS system (Release 2.0 or later) with a 3300 ICP (MCD Release 4.0, SP1 or later) results in COS modifications on the 3300 ICP system.
Supported trunks types are PRI, BRI, T1/D4, and analog (non-dial-in) trunks with the same answer point.
The Configuration Wizard does not support the configuration of existing 3300 ICP and MAS installations beyond the adding of new users, nor is it for use for day-to-day administration.
The Configuration Wizard does not support the configuration of:
new applications on existing 3300 ICPs and existing MAS systems
new application services to existing MAS users
multiple ICPs beyond the first ICP in the cluster
MAS applications when data has been migrated from a standalone application. It is recommended that the MAS application be used directly for configuration in this case.
configuration of standalone applications (for example, NuPoint Unified Messaging on Mitel Communications Suite (MCS).
resiliency support. You must configure devices with resiliency from the User and Device Configuration form of the device's primary element. To configure device resiliency from the User and Device Configuration form, RDN Synchronization must be supported by the cluster.
AWC users if Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is used to provision them.
Note: The Configuration Wizard does not support the 100-user version of the 3300 ICP.
The Configuration Wizard does not include programming for:
ACD Agents
Attendant Consoles
E2T card (LX only)
NSUs or external ASUs
Networking or clustering
Note: All of the above can be programmed by importing .csv files.
Before you can apply a configuration, you must ensure the following:
all option boards are installed in the 3300 ICP. The system configuration created with the wizard must match the installed hardware.
the MAS server is fully configured, running, and connected to the network with all required applications installed and licenses purchased and enabled.
Secure Shell Access is enabled in the MAS server console. In the server console, under Security, click Remote Access. In the Secure Shell Access field, select Allow access only from local networks. Then, set the following options to Yes:
Allow Administrators command line access over secure shell
Allow secure shell access using standard passwords
You also need the IP address of the 3300 ICP and the MAS server.
