SMDR data can be captured to a file from socket number 1752 using TCP/IP output streaming.
Install the Output Device
To install an SMDR output device:
Connect the output device to the serial printer port.
Program the system to route the SMDR records to the printer port.
Program the printer port with the parameters of the output device (for example, printer parameters).
Note: Data formatting of SMDR records is an integral part of the system and does not require additional hardware or software modification.
Program the SMDR Output
To program the SMDR printer port:
In the Application Logical Ports form locate the SMDR Logs field in the Port Logical Name column.
Enter LPR1 in the Port Physical Name column in the SMDR Logs field.
Program the Output Device Parameters
After connecting the output device, program the printer port with the parameters required by your output device. To determine the parameters of your output device, refer to the manufacturer's documentation.
Note: If routing LPR1 to a COM port make sure that the LPR1 settings and the COM port settings match by using Control Panel-Ports.
The printer ports default to the following output parameters

parity: none
number of Tx bits: 8
number of stop bits: 2
