Attendant Messaging lets you activate a message waiting condition on a station (see Messaging Dialed and Messaging Callback) from the attendant console. The condition can be queried or canceled by the attendant or by a station user with the appropriate Class of Service.
You cannot invoke message waiting when both the SOURCE (SRC) and DESTINATION (DST) areas share active parties.
Attendant Messaging does not apply to Conferences.

To use Attendant Messaging:
Press Message.
Do one of the following:
To check for message waiting, press Check Msg Waiting.
To turn message waiting on, press Set Msg Waiting.
To turn message waiting off, press Clear Msg Waiting.
If you are not in a call to the station, dial the station number.
Press Release or Cancel.
To check for message waiting when you are not involved in a call to that station (if you are calling the station no operation is required):
Press Function.
Press Stn Function.
Enter the Number of the station.
Press Exit.
To turn message waiting on or off while you are calling a station:
Press Msg Waiting.
Press Release or Cancel.
To turn message waiting on or off when you are not calling a station:
Press Function.
Press Stn Function.
Enter the number of the station.
Press Enter.
Press Msg Waiting.
Press Exit.
