When programmed for any of the supported devices, this feature logs missed, external answered incoming calls, and external outgoing calls for the device. Once the call limit (see Conditions) has been reached, the oldest record is replaced as each new one is received.
Note: Calls within a cluster are considered internal calls. These calls do not generate call history records. Calls to another cluster are considered external calls and do generate records.
Users can display the following call information:
if available, name of the caller (incoming calls)
called party name (outgoing calls)
start time of the call
type of call (missed calls, incoming, outgoing)
Phone users can
filter their record views by call type
delete old records after they have viewed them
return missed calls by pressing a softkey or feature key
prefix ARS digits required to make external calls (users can also add or subtract prefix digits manually).
Hot-desk users can maintain their call history recording, and can view their call history record, even when logged into another extension.
To view call history, sets must be in idle state.
Call History is not supported for ACD sets.
5020, 5220, 5224, 5010, 5207, 5212, 5312, and 5215 IP Phones and Navigator can store up to 20 call records (default). The maximum number of records can be set in the "Call History - Default Call History Records" field of the System Options form.
The 5330 and 5340 IP Phones and the 5324 IP Phone can store up to 50 call records regardless of the number that is programmed in the "Call History - Default Call History records" field in the System Options form. Once the 50-call limit has been reached, the oldest record is replaced as each new one is received.
