This feature protects a call from interruptions. When activated, Call Privacy ensures that you do not receive any audible camp-on tones, and prevents intrusion of any kind (for example - busy override). The user activates Call Privacy by dialing a code immediately prior to the call, or during a call (after temporarily placing the other party on hold). Call Privacy remains effective for the duration of the call.

Enable the COS option "Call Privacy" in the Class of Service of the station which is to be secured from intrusion during a call in the Class of service Options form.
Assign a Feature Access code to the Call Privacy feature in the Feature Access Codes form.

Lift handset.
Dial the Call Privacy feature access code.
Dial the destination number.
To enable Call Privacy during a call:
Flash the switchhook.
Dial the Call Privacy feature access code.

To enable Call Privacy before dialing a destination:
Lift handset.
Press the Call
Privacy feature key on the PDA (must be programmed).
