Curfew Control

Description:

Curfew Control is used in conjunction with Call Blocking to provide users on active calls with a warning tone and, if programmed, a grace period before Call Blocking takes affect. For more information, see Hotel/Motel Enable Call Blocking.

With Curfew Control enabled, users on active calls at curfew (Call Block Enabled time) receive a warning tone indicating that all calls—including held calls—will be cleared down. A grace period may be established to allow users to finish their calls. However during the grace period, no features are available. For example, recalls from held parties are connected only long enough for the user to hear a warning tone and have the call cleared down. At the end of the grace period, another warning tone is issued and calls are forcibly cleared down.

After curfew, normal call blocking takes affect. Calls to members of the same interconnect number are disallowed and the user hears reorder tone upon dialing. Calls to members of a different interconnect number are connected only long enough for the user to hear a warning tone and have the call cleared down.
