Calibrated Flash provides an alternative method of generating a Switchhook Flash.
The Calibrated Flash is produced by using a dedicated button or by generating a Switchhook Flash of 24 ms or more (on industry-standard sets). Unlike alternative signaling methods (see Recall and Ground Button), Calibrated Flash does not require the use of a third wire or second pair.
Calibrated Flash can only be used with revision "C" ONS line cards (MC320Cx).
Calibrated Flash can only be used when a station is in a connected state (i.e., engaged in a call).
Calibrated Flash and Switchhook Flash are mutually exclusive.
Ensure the station to support Calibrated Flash is connected to a port on a revision "C" ONS line card (MC320Cx).
Ensure that no feature access code is programmed as "1" in the Feature Access Codes form.
