Headset Operation lets you use a headset to make and receive telephone calls. Answer calls by pressing the flashing line key.
Headset Operation is only available on some phones; see Feature Availability below for more information.
While a headset is connected to the dedicated headset jack of a SUPERSET 4015, SUPERSET 4025, SUPERSET 4125, or SUPERSET 4150 telephone, the handset microphone is disabled.

For the 5x40 series of IP phones, the headset receiver is always on even when the handset is in use.
