Release lets you disconnect from an attempted Call Transfer or Conference Call without hanging up the handset. Release is useful when you encounter a busy or unavailable party.
Release is not supported on the Symbol Wireless phones.
Call Transfer or Conference must be in progress.
Assign a feature access code to Force Party Release in the Feature Access Codes form.
Program a Release feature key in the Multiline Set Keys form on the applicable extensions or use Superkey (see Feature Keys for more information on Superkey programming).
