Programming the SIP Satellite Office feature varies from application to application. Refer to the third-party documentation for information about programming the parameters for the gateways.
Follow the general steps below:
Configure the PRI gateway in the Head Office. Refer the third-party gateway documentation. It is recommended that the PRI gateway in the Head Office be used primarily for FAX calls. Other calls can be routed through the SIP trunks directly to the 3300 ICP when the Satellite Office gateway allows it.
Configure the FXO and FXS gateways in the Satellite Office. Refer to the third-party gateway documentation.
Program the DNS servers for the FXO gateway: the Primary 3300 ICP IP Address, the Secondary 3300 ICP IP Address (backup), and FXS gateway IP address co-located with the FXO.
Program the DNS servers for the FXS gateway: the Primary 3300 ICP IP Address, the Secondary 3300 ICP IP Address (backup), and FXO gateway IP address co-located with the FXS.
Program each gateway in Satellite Office as a SIP Peer. Refer to Program SIP Trunks. You don't need to program the SIP Registrar.
