The ARS Day and Time Zones form defines Day and Time Zone Numbers used for Automatic Route Selection. Each Day and Time Zone Number includes up to three Day Zones and up to four Time Zones. For each Day and Time Zone Number, the combination of Day Zones and Time Zones covers all the days of the week and all hours of the day.
Note: This topic refers to day and time zones used for Automatic Route Selection (ARS Automatic Route Selection (ARS) simplifies local and long distance dialing by automatically selecting the most convenient and cost-effective route, and by inserting and/or deleting digits for proper routing. Enter the days that define each Day Zone. Enter days as "Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday", "Friday", "Saturday", and "Sunday". The period specified for a Day Zone can be discontinuous - for example, "Sunday, Wednesday, Friday". All the days of the week must be covered by the ARS Day Zone. |

Time Zone 1 through 4 |
Enter the hours that define each Time Zone. A number in this field represents a one hour period. For example, "7" represents the period from 7:00 to 8:00. Enter numbers in a 24-hour format (numbers from "0" to "23" are valid). You may enter a time range ("9-14"). Enter numbers in ascending order (08-11 rather than 08-06). All the hours of the day must be covered by the ARS Time Zone. |
