Adding Users

Overview:

You can add new user profiles to your system database by adding new users in the User and Device Configuration form.

• Note: If you wish to add a large number of users, use the Import functionality. See About Importing User and Device Data for more information.

Programming

To add a new user

1. Access the User and Device Configuration form.

2. Click Add.

3. Select a Service Type: User and Device or Hot Desking User.

• To add a userless (unlicensed) device, select IP Device Only as the Service Type.

4. Enter the user's Personal, Device, Policies and Services, Voice Mail, and Desktop Tool Access information.

• Note: The Directory Number and Device Type field are required fields.

5. Click Save.
