The CO Tone Detection form allows you to enable or disable tone detection for Central Office trunks. You can also change the parameters for CO tone detection using this form.
Note: When the country variant is changed in License and Option Selection form, the change is not reflected in the CO Tone Detection form until you open the CO Detection form and save it. See Update_the_CO_Tone_Dectection_country_field.
Access the CO Tone Detection form.
Click to clear the check box for CO Tone Detection.
All fields are blanked out and disabled.
Click Save.
A confirmation box is displayed. When you click OK, the CO Tone Detection feature is disabled.
Note: A manual reboot is required for the CO Tone Detection feature to be disabled in the CO Tone Detection form.
Access the CO Tone Detection form.
Click the check box for CO Tone Detection.
Enter or change any of the parameters. See CO Tone Detection form for the allowed values.
Click Save.
A confirmation box is displayed. When you click OK, the new values are saved, and the CO Tone Detection feature is enabled.
Note: A manual reboot is required for the CO Tone Detection feature to be enabled with the changes made in the CO Tone Detection form.
If you receive a maintenance log indicating that the CO Tone Detection plan is "Invalid" for country "XX", use the following procedure to update the Country field in the CO Tone Detection form.
Access the CO Tone Detection form.
If "Invalid" is displayed in the Country field, click Change, and then click Save.
A confirmation box is displayed. When you click OK, the Country field is updated, and synchronized with the country field in the License and Option Selection form.
Note: A manual reboot is required for the CO Tone Detection form to be updated with the changes.
