Program Programmable Key Modules

Before You Begin

This procedure is applicable to PKM 12, PKM 48, and Dual PKM modules.

• Notes:

• Before connecting the PKM, ensure that the appropriate PKM Interface Module is installed in the phone. After you connect the PKM, you must reboot the SUPERSET phone or IP Phone before you program the PKM keys.

• To support a dual PKM, the phone must have an H2 hardware revision with main load of 9.4 and a boot load of 9.3 or later.

Programming

To program a PKM Module:

1. Multiline DNI Sets or Multiline IP Sets form

2. DNI telephone: select the device the PKM unit will attach to and set the Channel #2 field to "PKM 12", "PKM 48", or "Dual PKM".

3. IP Phone: select the telephone that the PKM will attach to, click Change and select "PKM 12", "PKM 48", or "Dual PKM" in the PKM field.

   Program the keys.
