Programming Speed Call Keys on 5302 IP Phones

To use Speed Call Keys on 5302 SIP Phones, they must first be provisioned through the System Administration Tool as follows:

  1. Personal Speed Call Allocation form
    Set the number of allocated speed dials to other that the default of 0 (e.g., 100)

  2. Feature Access Codes form
    Assign access codes to the Personal Speedcall - Store (e.g., 60) and Personal Speedcall Invoke (e.g., 70) features.

  3. System Speed Calls
    Provision the required number of System Speed Calls by entering the Personal Speedcall - Invoke access code followed by an index number in the range 01 to 04 in the "Actual Number" field. Complete the remaining form fields as required.

  4. Multiline Set Keys
    Program the required number of speed calls keys as follows:

  5. Set "Line Type" to "CDE Speedcall"

  6. In the "Button Directory Number" field, enter the System Speed Call digits from the System Speed Calls form.

Users must then complete the programming by assigning Personal Speedcall keys to their telephones as follows:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Dial the Personal Speedcall - Store feature access code (e.g., 60) and Index Number (e.g., 22) followed by the digits the user wants to store.

  3. Repeat for other keys as required.
