the sets must appear in the Emergency Call Hunt Group
Hunt
Groups form

display sets; enter up to 8 directory numbers of ONS CLASS sets
Note: If an ONS CLASS/CLIP set is designated to receive emergency call notification (i.e. appears in the emergency call hunt group) but does not have a Class of Service with the Caller Name Identity setting enabled, it will not receive notification. See Hunt Groups Description for a list of phones that can be members of an Emergency Hunt Group.
To program Emergency Call Notification feature keys on display sets, set the Line Type in the Multiline Set Keys form to "emergency call". The Directory Number and Ring Type fields must be blank.
Emergency Call Notification feature keys can also be programmed by using the SuperKey. When this method is used, the appropriate values appear in the Line Type field in the Multiline Set Keys form.
In addition to the emergency caller's directory number and the date/time of the call, the devices designated to receive local notification can receive and display additional information obtained from the CESID Comments field in the CESID Assignment form. This field is normally used to record location information about the emergency caller. In order to program data in the Comments field for an individual set, the set must have a CESID programmed against it. Individual sets may not have their own CESID numbers. If this is the case, it may be necessary to use the system default CESID in order to complete the comments field programming. This field is for internal use only and is not sent to the PSAP.
