Speak@Ease softkeys provide quick and easy access to Mitel Speech Server (Speak@Ease) voice recognition system or the equivalent in NuPoint Messenger IP Release 12 or later, and in NuPoint Unified Messaging Release 3.0 and later. When this feature is enabled, a Speak@Ease softkey becomes available on the set display. When the softkey is pressed, it automatically makes a call to the pre-programmed Speak@Ease directory number. This feature is supported across Mitel IP telephones.
Support is not provided for attendant consoles.
To program Speak@Ease softkey:
Class of Service Options form, set the Speak@Ease Preferred option to "Yes". The Phonebook softkey is replaced with the Speak@Ease softkey (Phonebook becomes available through the SuperKey menu).
System Acess Points form, type the directory number of the Speak@Ease voice recognition system into the Speak@Ease Access Number field. The digit string must translate into a valid hunt group, extension number, remote directory number, or speed dial to ARS.
Depending on your set type and the setting of your Speak@Ease Preferred COS option, access and press the Speak@Ease softkey to automatically dial the Speak@Ease voice recognition system.
The Speak@Ease voice recognition directory number can also be programmed as a personal speed call key (see Speed Call - Personal for programming information).
