System Access Points

Purpose:

The System Access Points form is used to assign values to various devices in the system which require no special programming other than one parameter.

Enter the directory number by which the DISA trunk using the forced account code feature is to be identified in the Trunk Attributes form.

Music Source

If you are not using the system Music on Hold, select "None".

When using embedded Music on Hold, select "Embedded".

When using analog or digital Music on Hold, select "External".

Music Source Port - Location ID

Enter the physical location identification (PLID) of the circuit to which the external Music on Hold circuit is connected. Not applicable when "Music Source" is set to "None" or "Embedded".

  • Note: Message Center is a feature of the Superset 700 console, which is not supported on the 3300 ICP.

Enter the directory number used to access the balance test. This field is associated with the Line Measure Tool. It should be used only by Mitel Product Support.

Administrative Directory Number

Enter the directory number to which the BRI NSU will send DPNSS date and time requests. This same number is also entered in the BRI programming "PBX maintenance address".

Speak@Ease Access Number

Enter the directory number of the Speak@Ease voice recognition system. The digit string must translate into a valid hunt group, extension number, remote directory number, or speed dial to ARS.

Hot Desking Access Number

Enter the DN that terminates the DID Also known as DDI (Direct Dialing Inwards). Allows an external caller to dial an internal extension without having to go through an attendant or operator. number dialed by external hot desking users to access system resources, including extensions, voice mail, outgoing trunks etc.

Hot Desking – Callback before digit collection number

Enter the DN that terminates the DID Also known as DDI (Direct Dialing Inwards). Allows an external caller to dial an internal extension without having to go through an attendant or operator. number dialed by external hot desking users to request a Callback.

Hot Desking – Callback after digit collection number

As above but for Blackberry® users and users of other devices that support "smart dialing." With smart dialing, users can store the Callback DID number to the device for quick dialing. This number can be any valid extension, hunt group, ACD path, or ARS destination.
