Personal Speed Calls let you store and dial frequently-used numbers by using access codes and index numbers.
The number of Speed Call users cannot exceed 500. Speed Call Digit String (average 12 digits) cannot exceed 1500.
Each user can be assigned a maximum of 100 Personal Speed Calls (00 to 99) in blocks of 10. If you are assigned 20 Speed Calls, you use index numbers 00 to 19.
Speed Call index numbers must be two-digit numbers from 00 to 99. If you enter a one or a three-digit index number followed by the speed call number, the system will interpret the first two digits as the index number and the following digits as the speed call number. For example, if you enter "1" as the index number followed by "592-2122", the system will save "92-2122" for index 15. Likewise, if you enter "100" as the index number followed by "592-2122", the system will save "0-592-2122" for index 10.
You can store up to 26 digits per Speed Call.
Personal Speed Calls cannot override interconnect restrictions.
You do not have to enter all of the directory number digits into the Index memory location. For example, if you have an external account code, you can Speed Call the long distance number and manually dial the external account code.
You can insert a Trunk Flash into a Speed Call. See Flash - Trunk for more details.
